Good: I love the staff here. Everyone is so kind and caring. They take the time to get to know my children and my family. The teachers are all 4 year degree in early childhood ed. and most have been there 10 or more years! My children have been here since they were two and come back every year for summer until they are too old. I love that they offer a full-day 4K program. Can't get that at public schools. Plus they are so flexible with scheduling. If you want good high quality care you will definitely find it!. Bad: nothing. Improvements: More people to enroll their children here.. Other: I love that St. Aemilian's is non-profit and open to everyone. It's wonderful that they even accept W-2 Childcare considering the tough economic times. I don't have to compromise my children's care just because of economic changes! The director is extremely helpful and willing to work with you no matter what your needs are..

After Attending MSOE and being able to taste the diploma, I have a MUCH different view of the school than when I started. At the start of your schooling here, a lot of the classes don't seem to meet, and you can't see how things connect with what you want to do with your future, but during your junior year there, everything that you learned combines and is applied to show you exactly what you want to do. the courses are tough, but if they weren't, you wouldn't be getting what you are paying for, a great education. If you are serious about your engineering degree, this is definitely the school for you.

This is the best hair salon I've been to. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else. The prices are unbeatable. I paid $14.00 to get my hair highlighted. I called last minute to set up an appointment and they got me in 15min after I got off the phone. My hair turned out absolutely perfect. They also gave me a free parafin wax on my hands. My hairstylist got me something to drink while my hair was drying. Everyone there was so nice. I deffinately will be back!

I have had a couple of massages by students at this school at different events and recently learned that their on-site fees are ridiculously inexpensive too. I think in any larger group setting some will be better at some techniques then other and it's possible that the experience will vary, but in my experience with students of this school they are very well informed, very committed to their work -- particularly because they are at the start of their careers and excited to be putting their knowledge to work.

Alverno is a great secret for the City of Miwaukee. It is a small, non co-ed liberal arts college, yet full of great things for the community.
They have a wonderful program for children in the community that need speech assistance. If you are admitted, your child will be evaluated for free.
They also have a wonderful fine arts school and the plays and musicals that are open to the public are marvelous!
The library is old and quaint and open to the public. The perfect place to read or study, it reminds me of a library at Harvard.
Alverno has a unique grading system in which letter grades are not given the huge importance they are in other schools.
Parking is usually good, but during busy times, you may find yourself parking in a residential area and walking.

This a great new museum in Milwaukee at the Lakefront. It has many hands on exhibits that change all the time and a really awesome aquarium! There are programs that can be signed up for as a family or just individual. Part of the year they even have an educational boat that docks there.The S/V Denis Sullivan, a 137-foot re-creation of a three-masted, 19th century Great Lakes schooner.It is also a scientific research vessel. The cost may seem like a lot at first glance, but if you live in or near Milwaukee the memberships offered are the way to go. You will want to go back a couple times a year, so they are your best bet!
