LOVE THIS SHOP!!!
I use to work right down the street from Larry's but because it is tucked away off the main streets, it took me years to come across this treasure. Don't wait as long as I did.
Basically, they are off of Teutonia and Brown Deer. Just call for directions or check out the link above.
What I LOVE about this place is the unique food products that you will discover. Whenever I had a party or was entertaining guests, my planning wouldn't be complete unless I stopped here first.
PLUS - YOU GOTTA CHECK OUT THEIR DELI!!!!

I wish that I had a recipe for everything in their deli case. It's THAT GOOD!

And if you are a frequent luncher at this shop - get your lunch card punched to earn those free lunches.
Things can be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for!

I went to Famous Dave's tonight with my book club buddies and we really enjoyed it.
None of us had been here before and at the end of the evening, we all agreed it was a definite 4 star place.
For starters, plenty of parking.
Secondly, the waiting area has these WONDERFUL leather couches that make you wanna sit there all night long. Forget about the food, let's just relax!
Once we got seated, which only took MINUTES - on a Friday night! - we enjoyed the atmosphere and decor. Just FUN.
The staff was super friendly and attentive. My sweet tea was filled numerous time - no problem!
The food portions are huge. I brought home my "lunch" and it will be a BIG lunch tomorrow.
Lots to pick from. Lots of choices! Lots of side orders - lots and lots and lots of everything.
The ONLY thing that didn't work for us was the check. We specifically asked to pay for our meals separately. And were told that it wasn't a problem. But at the end, our waitress divided our meals EQUALLY, when in fact we did not have equal meals. A little bit of a pain - but it was minor.

I went to Bartz's to pick up some decorations for a wedding shower my wife is hosting. When I got there, I ended up calling her for guidance because there were more choices than I expected. Found everything she needed, then I wandered the store for fun.
They have a wide (though not necessarially deep) selection of favors and decorations for just about any kind of party. Bartz's will be my first choice when I need party favors in the future.

If you like pizza and great service then check out Champion Chicken. This food is great from the pizza to the chicken I think it is the best in milwaukee. Located just west of 84th and lisbon, It has a very homey atmosphere, I went in one night at midnight (which is waht time they close) and the waitress took our order, we ended up satying till almost 1 in the morning. They never said we had to hurry up or anything. But back to the food, it is just the best. I would try the large peporni and sausage!!!!!!

Let's face it- Milwaukee isn't New York or Miami, (or even Chicago for that matter) and it's hard to find a worthwhile deli. Fortunately, a good one is right around the corner from me...Benji's. The corned beef is nothing to scoff at, nor is the Matzo ball soup (I recommend it, actually!). The baked goods are pretty nice, too, and the pickles.
The one better thing about this place than a bigger-city deli are the prices, which border on reasonable, as opposed to those pricer (and better) places. Good, I'd say.. Good!

I was only at International Food one time, but I should go back there again soon!
I am usually quite a picky eater, so some of the things there I wouldn't try, but one thing I definitely recommend are the cheese pancakes. There might be another more ethnic name for them, but they are fabulous! Like a cross between a doughnut, a pancake, and a blintz or something...just absolutely delicious!
Aside from that, it's just an interesting place that sells all kinds of Russian vodkas, books, and other things. The service is quick and friendly as well.

If you are looking for a good pizza in a casual setting- this is your place! Across from Kinko's is a cozy and friendly eatery. The pizza is some of the best on the East Side of Milwaukee. They have a bar that is separate from the sit down area. The staff is very friendly, and we have always been treated well. This is a popular neighborhood hang out and many Fridays you will wait to be seated, but it is worth it. Being on the East Side, one of the negatives is parking! Zaffirro's is off Brady Street, though, so even if you do park a couple blocks away, the neighborhood is eclectic and entertaining. You will enjoy the walk! So the next time you are in Milwaukee and looking for pizza, remember Zaffiro's!

Once again Factory Card & Party Outlet has NOT failed me. They have everything that you need to put on a good party. Or just about any other gathering of your choice.

Don't pass up the fried eggplant appetizer; the order includes a large basket of breaded and fried eggplant sticks, accompanied by lemon wedges and marinara sauce.
Mama Mia's is most famous for their meat lasagna, but the spinach version is also fantastic! Other great choices include veal parmesan, chicken parmesan, or pizza. Best of all, every entrée comes with a house side salad and an entire loaf of their famous butter-soaked garlic bread! You will think you have died and gone to heaven! For a small additional price, a cup of soup and spumoni can be added.
Overall, a great value for such delicious Italian food!
