This was my first time at the restaurant. the atmosphere was pleasant but sometimes a bit noisy due to the blender being used behind the booth where I sat. I had the Roti Prata, Pineapple Fried Rice, Mango Chicken and Panang Sizzling Chicken. The food was average, the service was good. The manager was kind enough to bring a complimentary dessert consisting of Fried Banana and Mango Ice Cream. My advice is if you want some excellent food of the same type of fare, head over to the Coconut Grove @ The Great Mall.

Hi-
This is a long overdue review-
I eat out a lot. One of my new favorite foods is Indian cuisine. I tried to get use to the ordinary dirty not tidy and weird type Indian cuisine. With respect to all I was told this was more of a cultural thing where India is a poor country so hence the lack of ambiance.
I was floored and amazed when I first came to Spice Route. The place is just beautifully decorated with beautiful plates and touches like a small butter knife over the plate which just adds a certain gene?Sequa. The lighting is perfect.
They say the server makes the meal! SR is run by a fiance team which are paired perfectly. She is this sweet charming girl from Florida- has awesome customer service skills and truly cares about your requests and order- he a handsome third generation stout Indian man pours excellence in the food- From the concoction you dip your nhan into to the butter chicken and vegetable plates I have never tried before ? WOW! YUM!
You have to try this small gem in Milpitas which I promise soon will be standing room only?
Pros: the staff, food, ambiance
Cons: it's hidden away where many may not know its there

I've been going to La Milpa for years, and love this place. The con above is a double edged sword; busy is good for the restaurant, but sometimes the service suffers if the wait staff has too many to serve. The food, though, always is good, no matter how busy. It is always fresh and piping hot, and most importantly great tasting. I've been to most of the Mexican places in the area, and this is one of the best.
Pros: Fast, friendly service
Cons: Can get busy on weekends, so go early

Giorgio's is the last of a dying breed of Great Family Italian Resturant. With places like Olive Garden and Spegetti Factory considered the family italian resturant, Griorgio's is a breath of fresh air (or should I say old air?). The food quality here is superb and done the way Grandma would have cooked it and the prices are extremely reasonable. I've brought many family and friends to Giorgio's and they all had nothing but great things to say about the food Giorgios. They have a variety of plates that will satisfy most people whether its meat, seafood, or pasta, and the pizza here is the best in the Bay Area. If you are looking for a great italian family resturant the way it should be, Giorgio's is the place to come.
Pros: Great Fresh Food, Excellent Pizza, Great Prices
Cons: NONE

This place has been around for decades and has been prodcing consistently good food the whole time. The staff is friendly. The homemade soups are great. Everything comes out piping hot. The salsa is nice and spicy. Plus they make good margaritas.
Pros: food and service
Cons: In a brokedown shopping center

My father treated us to Sunday brunch here one weekend and boy did our stomachs have a wonderful time! First off, Flames reminds me of a small town American diner where everybody knows everybody. The waitress was so warm and cordial it seemed like she had known us for years! Not only did she regularly check to see if we needed anything, she happily provided my children with more than enough crayons and paper to keep them occupied while the adults enjoyed the rest of the meal. Even though the brunch consisted of standard items like scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, hash browns, etc., everything was scrumptious and
devoured! Definitely check out Flames if you like to have delicious, long and leisurely brunches with your family on the weekends.

My husband and I miss all the great taquerias in San Francisco. This one in Milpitas came highly recommended from some friends so we gave it a try. The place looks just like a real taqueria should, not too fancy, fairly clean. The food is great! The Al pastor burrito was full of heavily seasoned pork and not too much filler, but my husband always orders burrito's with no rice. I had the veggie and honestly did not miss the meat. Very flavorful rice and beans, great salsa. Friendly enough staff.
Pros: Burrito's

The food always comes out fast, and fresh. The spicy soup noodle, beef noodle, lamb fried rice, and cumin lamb are really worth a shot. Really great food. Service is really good too.
However, it gets busy during lunch and dinner, so if you want a spot come early! :D
