There is so much you can do at the Midland Center for the Arts. It is an Art and Science musuem as well as hosting performances (music, plays, dance, etc.). For a fairly small community, MCFTA attracts so many people from around the world. From October 2004 to September 2005, they have an Egypt exhibit from the museum of fine arts in Boston. Previously, they had an amazing Pearl exhibit from all over the world. Admission depends on what you want to do. I suggest the Hall of Ideas for family groups. It's a hands on art and science learning museum for all ages!

They've got something like 50,000 books through out the store, and I can always find something good to read. They've got a huge non-fiction section, as well as lots of regular fiction books. I've been to most of the used bookstores in the northern part of the state and this is one of my favorites.

We buy all of our fruit and meat from Jacks. They have to absolute best meat any where around here. The meat is always fresh, you can tell by how good it tastes that it hasnt been sitting around forever. The fruit is fresh as well, it tastes so good. The people that work there are really nice, always willing to help me with whatever I need, they even help me load it into my car when its raining. Awesome place to shop.

Valley Lanes is a great place to take your family. They have so much to do. There is a bowling alley, pool hall, putt putt golf, a bowling pro shop, and a bar. The place is very well kept, very well lit so you dont feel like your in a pit. The food here is very good as well. The bowling and the pool is about average priced for the area, and the putt putt is kind of pricey, but its the best place to go in this area for all of these activities.

A house and gallery that was built designed and built by Alden B Dow. He was a student of the Late Great Frank Lloyd Wright and everything in this house screams that fact. From the sunken room that is in a large pond that borders the Dow gardens to the custom train that runs through the rooms. A great Architectural Home. Very Interesting if you like houses.
