There is nothing unusual about this diner, it could be any other one in the Northeast. Portions are large but the food is just okay. Veggies cooked until they are limp, desserts that look a lot better than they taste, you get the idea.
This is a very popular place with seniors and bargain hunters. They do indeed have a lot of choices but no one can make that many different types of food and do it well.
I do like their challah french toast but of course no real maple syrup. Soups are usually pretty good and meat loaf is not bad and definately a large portion.
The decor is nice, big and bright and the restrooms are clean. If you want a lot of food and if your Mom wasn't the best cook in the world, you will love it.

From the outside and the decor on the inside, this place strikes you as a 50's diner. However, the name and the menu tell you otherwise. The menu is huge and offers Greek, Italian, Jewish, American...and I'm sure there are other foods that I am forgetting. I had the fettuccini, and the portion was so large that it lasted me about four meals! Great food in a casual setting---a great place to bring a bunch of your friends. Don't come here expecting a quiet meal though! :)
