In recent years, the Chicken House has gone through several owners, but it remains one of the best restaurants in the area. The positive reputation it has received encourages people to drive pretty far to come to this restaurant. The menu is AMAZINGLY good - there are all kinds of great entrees. They have a full bar and a really nice lounge with a stage that was added on a few years ago. During the weekends, they have live music. I highly recommend a visit. Enjoy!

This restaurant is located on Rte. 28 (exit 3 off 495)... Many years ago it was called Ben Howes' Chicken House and was a prime eating stop for weary Cape Travelers. I lived nearby and when I would pass the place the smell of fried chicken would waft into my car! Its gone through several owners since then but they have kept a lot of the charm that made the place popular. The last and current owners have eliminated the all-you-can-eat aspect but they still offer a senior option that includes beverage entree and select dessert. A must stop if you are passing by!
