A delightful Bed and Breakfast hotel. Not too fancy but great for a little getaway. The staff was so polite. Too bad it was too cold to enjoy the pool. Maybe next time. It's conveniently located in the middle of all the beach action. Plenty of restaurants, clubs and shopping. Friendly front desk and good prices. Not as fancy as others in the area but worth the price.

Only one short block away from the beach which is GREAT! Wet Willies (a big fun bar) is right on 8th and Ocean, which is on the way to the beach. Also there are a lot of nightclubs, on Washington Ave. which is one short block in the other direction. Very good location and decent, clean service to sum it all up. I hope my review was helpful! Oh yes, I was only there for 3 days in October in case you were wondering. Alright--Happy Hotel Hunting!

Hi there! I've been staying here since 2003 and witnessed their gradual decline. While back they used to be part of Crowne Plaza Resort and I would have rated them one of the best.
Pro's: Location and price. They have excellent access to the beach and steps away from Ocean drive, Lincoln Rd Mall.
Con's: Dirty carpet in hallway and rooms: you can see bleach stains where they tried to get rid off wine/coffee/ketchup stains. No mini fridges in rooms. Last time I stayed (Nov 2007) they had construction work done from 10pm to 4am two floors above me. Help desk was of no help. They put me in tiny queen bed room/no ocean view, when originally I booked king/ocean view. After long wait I got my room, but it had funky smell in one of the corners. Bed sheets once weren't changed - I had to call room service. Ice machines don't work on all floors.
OK, you've been warned ;-) This is like a lottery - gamble and you might win.

This gots to be the best located Hotel in South Beach. Its right in the middle of everything. One block up form the beach and ocean drive. Not expensive at all either. My first time going to South Beach I stayed here. The rooms aint all that great but the who cares. Its right in the all action. Great location, great price, good food. I dont care how much money I got, I would still stay right here. At 10th & Collins is where its happening at. As soon as you step out of the hotel. BAM, you in the mix with everything.

I stayed here with a friend to save money. South Beach was too expensive. While this place was perfectly cute and clean, it was just ok. There was a bar downstairs that would have been fun if there had been people there. Most of the people staying here were families and older adults. We were in our early 20's so we felt out of placed and yearned nonstop to be downtown with people our age. There were a ton of cute shops and restaurants just a 15 minute walk down the street.

While on a vacation recently in Miami we were walking up and down Ocean Drive seeking a hotel for the night. The front desk staff was very friendly and the small intimate bar looked to be a good place at the end of a long night of fun. Great value on the room compared to others on the strip and excellent customer service. The room was very clean and had a cool ambiance being in an old world/art deco building. The front desk staff mentioned a good Italian restaurant at the Lincoln Mall and that they offered a free limousine ride to the restaurant. We snuggled up to the bar for a drink while waiting for our ride and enjoyed socializing with the friendly bartenders. The limo shuttled us over to the restaurant and it was overall a great perk for our date. The driver walked us up to the restaurant and we were seated soon after arrival. We ran into the same woman on staff the following morning and she stored our luggage while we soaked up some more rays on the beach during the afternoon. This hotel is right in the mix of all of the activity and a great value for couples looking for nearby entertainment and lodging at an affordable rate. We'll be staying there again in August when it is time for the second round of South Beach!

We stumbled into this hotel late one night recently when our reservation was not honored at another joint.Boy,was I glad we were forced into this out of the way island of peace and quiet.The people were very helpful and the rate was very good.The parking was ample and cheap w/none of that "valet"parking racket that almost spoils sobe for many.You park all day for less than 7 bucks w/no tipping.The perfect beach is right there.The rooms are clean and everthing works,even the mini fridge kept drinks cold.The biggest room complaint is hardly anything to watch on the tube.You are a few feet off Collins but it feels like a mile.
Pros: quiet, great beach, value
Cons: small rooms, bad tv, slow elevator

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. we had were right on the beach,had a ocean front view. our room was clean & we had a fridge & safe in our room to use...also we paid $60 a night,which we thought was a great deal. hotel also had a outdoor pool & tiki bar,convienent indoor showers & bathroom adjacent to the pool,and also had outdoor showers...also they served a complete breakfast right there in the hotel,and it was served buffet style...walking distance from walgreens & dennys....

I enjoyed playing on Fisher Island. It was rather breezy which made for a difficult course, but overall i was happy with my experience. I played with a friend, and the green's fees were a little high.
