miami heat has lost some glory and gained some over the past 5 years. but nothing beats seeing shaq and the gang in action live. the energy and pulse is thrilling. The seats..cheap. Amusingly cheap for sports seats making them a great deal for family nights or a girls/guys night out. The beers can get pricey but basic fare like chips and hot dogs are delicious. Smothered in ketchup or mustard..or both they give you a bbq taste. The heat dancers really keep the action going during half time and seeing the players chill post games gives great autograph oppertiunities as well!

To be a fan of the Dolphins is to live in constant hope of another perfect season. Or these days, perhaps just making it to the playoffs. Regardless, I always enjoy going to the games - whether it's in the stadium or at a local sports bar with other fans. I have great hope that the new coach will be able to finally get the time together and ready to take on the big guys in the playoffs. So be a fan and support the team!

I recently went to a FL Marlins game and had the opportunity to sit in a skybox. About 10 years ago, I was a huge baseball fan until the players striked and it became apparent it was all about money - not the love of the game. Since then, attendance has dwindled and has done so at Florida Marlins baseball games. Granted, it was a Tuesday night, but the stadium didn't even seem 1/4 full. Concessions are outrageous and the lines are just as bad. Parking is horrendous. The stadium decided that it would be better to sell out to Toyota and divide the lots using models - a grand total of 3. So parking in the "Tundra" zone really doesn't help you out much since it wraps all the way around the stadium. But I'm sure we can all be glad they're making advertising dollars off that system. If you're looking for a night of fun, don't spend it with the Marlins.
