My husband & I had a wonderful, romantic dinner recently at The Melting Pot, and we can't wait to return! It was his first fondue experience & my first time at this particular location. The bar looked like a fun place to hang out, but I have to admit - we went to dinner rather early by Miami standards, so nobody was living it up at the bar even by the time we left. The staff definitely tries to sell you on the "Big Night Out" 4-course meal, but we were completely satisfied with the "Fondue for Two" 3-course meal that didn't include the fancier cuts of meat. We also shared a Flaming Turtle chocolate dessert fondue & it was delcious!

My husband and I have gone to this restaurant a couple of times but every time we go, there is a huge wait and then you pay up the ying yang for (what you call...) fried foods. You fry your own meal in oil. I guess we have not gone there anymore becuase its really not that healthy or good for you. The service is ok but I am still not sure about the food...Its just a place that doesn't WOW me.
