My friends and I LOVE to eat at Houston's. I can't give it 5 stars because I think they need to change their menu every once in a while...as long as my favorites (Baby back ribs, Houston salad, Char-Grilled Burger) stay on the menu. The service is great, the food is well-prepared and served hot, but I do agree that more items to delicious items to choose from is a great idea. Pros: great food Cons: wait time, no reservations allowed, you can't sit more than 6 to a table

Houston's is good overall, but nothing sensational and seems to be overrated. I've been here a few times to have dinner for two and waited 45 minutes each time. One time there were three of us and still waited a bit (they will not take your reservation until EVERYONE in your party is actually at the restaurant). The service was decent, but the menu wasn't outstanding and for the price, the portions were quite small. That being said, the food really was tasty and, aside from the wait and the price paid for the small portions, we were all completely satisfied with everything here.

If you've been to one before you know what to expect. I think the food is really good although a bit overpriced as are the drinks. The service is of course wonderful and there are tons of people running around if you can't find your server. They don't take reservations and the wait is ridiculous any hour on any day. But, it's definitely a place to be seen at happy hour.
