It took me a long time to find an acne specialist but I finally did.My skin is soooo much better now. I don't have to worry about bumpy skin anymore. I like the way Shelia explained the procedures to me first. I knew I was in good hands right away. She got it all out and then put me under this really bright light which she said kills bacteria. All I know is I dozed off for a little bit after laying under it. I checked out my bag of samples and tried the cleanser and shave cream. I be back soon to get more. I have had monthly facials for most of my life. I recently moved to Miami and needed to find a facialist here. After reading all the good reviews, I decided to give it a try. Big mistake for me. Never have I left with scars on my face from painful extractions. What's worse is that I had scabs all over my face by the time I woke up the following morning. I don't even have bad acne! Maybe if your facial does not involve extractions, I would believe the great reviews. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Pros: Can't think of one Cons: Extraction nails

Pro: The staff is very friendly. I showed up early, and they made me feel right at home while I waited. Pro: The woman that performed my deep cleansing facial worked so quickly and did a great job. It was clear that she knew exactly what she was doing. Pro: Very reasonable price. One hour facial was $60. Pro: Free gift bag with every purchase, including sample products and a t-shirt. Con: Run down building and a very cramped office. Pros: Knowledgeable and Friendly Staff Cons: Older building, small office

Our couple massage and facial on Valentines day was nothing short of spectacular. We changed in to our robes and they gave us (free!)mimosas. First we sat together in the sauna and sipped our drinks then we each got these luxurious caviar and champagne facials- unbelievable! Great luxury that feels great. Next we went in to the couples massage room for a romantic massage that was matvellous. With the beautiful music and romantic candles, it felt like we were on a faraway island. There were other couples who looked just as happy as us. The quiet romantic ambiance filled the rooms.I couldn't believe how full our bag was with free gifts to take home. This was a once in a lifetime experience.Such incredible service and a perfect experience! Pros: perfect,immaculate,professional Cons: no sign outside

They make sure to get everything out. Me and my 2 sisters come every couple months to keep our skin looking clear. It's the best place all around. Pros: best facials relaxing Cons: nothing

I visited the Skin Institute for the first time a couple weeks ago. It is located in an older office building. The spa itself is very small, maybe 700 square feet. It is cluttered and very cramped. I wanted to relax during my facial, but the woman kept talking my ear off and some guy kept walking in and out of the office (which, by the way, you can hear everyone, as they use curtins as doors). I've visited several spas between Miami and LA and I definaely will not return to this one. It just felt like someone decided one day to open a spa. Pros: Free parking, friendly staff Cons: Office was cramped, wasn't relaxing, didn't feel like a real spa, more like a garage
