I recently purchased a bridal gown from Pearls Place and had a perfect experience. I tried on the gown at a local bridal store so I knew how it fit and looked on me. It was priced $695 at the store. I called Pearls place and was given a quote of $375. A 50% saving!!! I ordered it on Jan. 23 and received it April 16th. The dress is perfect!! Everything I imagined!! And I got it for half the price!! I would recommend them to anyone.

Pearl's Place is located in Metairie by Lakeside Shopping Center. I got all of my prom dresses her in the late 80’s and then purchased my wedding dress in the late 90’s. I actually went to other shops too, but ended up buying the first dress I tried on. Not a massive selection, but what they have is really nice.

There is a reason why Drago’s Restaurant keeps expanding, it is excellent! A great family atmosphere with a great selection, Drago’s prices are hard to beat. I frequently order the extremely reasonably priced lobster. The portions are very nicely sized and the food is delicious. They are known for their Charbroiled Oysters which I find delicious. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Go for their Early Bird menu. You will not be disappointed!

We dine at Crazy Johnnies everytime we crave a good steak and don't feel like mortgaging the farm to get one. The filet is our favorite. Love the Crazy Potatoes and the BBQ Shrimp are some of the best in town. Like the bar and outside deck also. We always bring our out of town guests here and they love it !

We were driving from Florida to Texas and stopped in Covington, LA looking for a Subway. We stumbled upon Lee's and what a delight! This was the best burger I ever ate. The bun was soft and fresh, the meat melted in my mouth. The grilled onions gave the burger a wonderful flavor. I had mine dressed with lettuce and tomato. I strongly recommend Lee's. It's worth going out of your way for.

My friends and I have eaten at Deanie''s on Lake Ave. for years, and several times this year. Seafood is always plentiful and very good! Love the spicy new potatoes served as an appetizer.
Sometimes when the restaurant is packed it becomes a little noisy and the service can be a little slow ...... just sit back, enjoy, joke with your server and be patient....good food in coming!
When driving in for a visit Deanie's is always our first stop....can't wait to get back!! See ya there ......
Pros: Great food, fun crowds, friendly service.....very good value
Cons: Sometimes a little noisy and service can bog down when corwded
