I have been here a number of times and this is becoming my favorite place I go to Spa Mercer sometimes when I really want to lounge in their heat rooms They will ask you what you want ? for me it?s always neck and shoulders ? and then that?s what you get!! I am getting hooked. Very good massage!

I've had facials at luxury spas and none of them were as refreshing as the facial I received a Sugar and Swank. I left feeling very relaxed and my skin felt fabulous. I highly recommend Sugar and Swank!

I came in to see Dr. Jeff when I hurt my shoulder lifing weights. I expected a one-time visit like I had with a previous chiropractor. Almost two years later, I can say I now understand the miracle of the spine and central nervous system.
I found out I store stress and tension in my neck and shoulders and with Dr. Jeff's fabulous adjustments, I can now turn my neck and move my shoulders freely without pain!
Now I do not get sick as often and when I do, I recover in record time. Case in point, I recently had a cold, which in the past always turned into a sinus infecton. Dr. Jeff did his usual great adjustment and then used an activator to loosen my sinuses. Voila, I recovered from my cold shortly thereafter with no sinus infection!
Dr. Parton is the best and I higly recommend him and his wonderful staff!
Pros: Flexible scheduling; fun yet professional Dr. and staff
Cons: Nada!

Mercer Island Martial Arts has been the single best activity that my kids have done. This school goes way beyond just teaching martial arts. Masters Strongheart and Wells have that rare gift of being able to mix teaching and discipline with fun. The kids love them, respect them and learn from them. I have two very different children that have benefited in very different ways from this school. My daughter found a sense of place and community here. She developed respect and had another set of adults steering her in a constructive direction. She developed relationships with older students at the school who have helped her learn to stand up against peer pressure and have guided her to being a better student and making better choices. She has learned the responsibility of teaching the younger children and helping them with their challenges. She is eager to mentor the younger students because she values the experience that she had.
My son has gained self confidence. He is an easy-going boy that would sometimes be taken advantage of & pushed around. Now he has the confidence to stand his ground and know that he can take care of himself, and, perhaps more importantly, he knows that he can walk away. He has learned about responsibility as well. He has gained leadership skills from teaching roles that he had previously have avoided.
I am grateful for the work that Masters Strongheart and Wells have done. They have helped my children develop in very positive ways. These two, and the school that they run, are a tremendous asset to the community.

I have been here twice... Loved the food and the service. Our server both times was very attentive and freindly, but did not rush us. Very knowledgeble about the menu and food, and passionate about her favorite dishes when we asked what they were.
Love the cheese selections, Heirloom Tomato Pasta Primavera special, Italian Cous Cous, Surf and Surf, gorgeous Beet Salad... The Burger and homemade ketchup were very good as well.
The wine by the glass may have seemed a little pricey, but they give you a 7oz pour!
Nice decor. The restaurant is not to big, not too small... Open wall on sunny days is great.
I will go back! Loved everything about it.
Pros: Quality Food, Great Service, Free Parking, Beautiful place.

Tim acted as both our selling and buying agent and we could not be more pleased. We put our house on the market in Sept. 2008. Tim knew how to stage our home inside and out. With all his knowledge and time spent with us prepping us for our sale we accepted an offer 6 days after putting our house on the market and got what we asked. Our purchase took 6 months because we were extremely picky in our needs. We physically looked at 50 or more homes all over the greater Seattle area and the home we decided on at least 7 times. We were happy with our decision and were able to get the home for well less than the asking price through Tim’s negotiating skills. As long as Tim is alive, we will never use a different agent. His knowledge, patience, and negotiating skills can not be surpassed.

This is my favorite place on Mercer Island and is a great stop after a soccer game or just a fun place to meet some friends. In the summer, you can sit outside. It is a little old house which has been around for years. They have great bar food and a wonderful selections of beers and of course mixed drinks. It's family owned and I like supporting a company like this. The staff is friendly too.
