Tim acted as both our selling and buying agent and we could not be more pleased. We put our house on the market in Sept. 2008. Tim knew how to stage our home inside and out. With all his knowledge and time spent with us prepping us for our sale we accepted an offer 6 days after putting our house on the market and got what we asked. Our purchase took 6 months because we were extremely picky in our needs. We physically looked at 50 or more homes all over the greater Seattle area and the home we decided on at least 7 times. We were happy with our decision and were able to get the home for well less than the asking price through Tim’s negotiating skills. As long as Tim is alive, we will never use a different agent. His knowledge, patience, and negotiating skills can not be surpassed.

I could tell that Tim was a little nervous because he was a new agent but after about 10 minutes my wife and I knew we had made the right choice. It was obvious that Tim had excellent training and was very knowledgeable and motivated. Our home was our retirement and so very important to us. So to make along story short, Tim dealt with stubborn sellers (us) and deals that fell through (them) and when all was said and done we got what we needed and the buyers got a great home. What more can you ask for. My wife and I have recommended Tim to family and friends who were in search of a top notch agent. Tim was really someone who I could relate to - he's a great guy and I was glad to give my business to him. Having worked in mortgage credit risk management, I'm well attuned to the risk of interest rate increases and housing price declines. I hate realtors who pretend that 10% appreciation will continue forever. Extrapolating on a recent trend is a good way to close a deal on potential homebuyers, but not a realistic way to manage one's finances. Tim readily admitted that the market conditions were not ideal and targeted a search for a bargain in an overpriced market. He could have driven a little bit of a harder bargain had he not been afraid to offend the seller and lose the deal. However, we still got a house that is great for us for $15K under asking price. Following the sale, Tim went above and beyond the call of duty helping my wife and myself with the transition to homeownership. I consider Tim a friend and a consumate professional.

Truly a different Real Estate experience! From the very start of my house hunting, Tim Auld clearly explained all the steps of the process, made me feel very comfortable in my decision making, and lastly, during the contract negotiations - it was Tim's negotiations that got me the house I bought(there were mutliple other offers on the same house at the same time!). I have referred Tim to my friends, and as soon as they become Judy's Book-ers, they too will write up great reviews!!!
