Other: I love to come to this location to hang and read a book or two. The other Starbucks in the south end of the island has lot more inside seating, but this one just feels nicer..

Nice selection of sushi and other Japanese dishes. They usually have interesting specials for whatever seafood is fresh. Prices are reasonable and the service is very friendly.
Highly recommended and well worth the drive to the south end of Mercer Island.
Pros: great food and service at reasonable prices with plenty of easy parking
Cons: none really

This is my favorite place on Mercer Island and is a great stop after a soccer game or just a fun place to meet some friends. In the summer, you can sit outside. It is a little old house which has been around for years. They have great bar food and a wonderful selections of beers and of course mixed drinks. It's family owned and I like supporting a company like this. The staff is friendly too.

It is by far the best teriyaki on the island. They give you so much food for the relatively cheap price. Their Gyoza plate is one of the best items on the menu. You can also tell that the food is freshly cooked when you order it. Don't be discouraged by its small size. It's Delicious!!

My kids & I LOVE Pon Proem. It's our favorite place to eat or order take out on the Island. Dependable great service, friendly staff, and affordable to eat at often. The owners are also very nice and have sometimes sent us home with free dishes to try!
We're vegetarian, and varied veg food is difficult to find locally, but Pon Proem will make just about anything we want veg, no problem!
Pros: Fast, clean, professional, friendly, affordable

It is a great little restaurant on the south end of the island. There is a wide variety of options to choose from and the employees are really friendly. The only problem is that they aren't always too quick with serving the food, but once you get it it is definitely worth it.

I like Little Tokyo Teriyaki because of the menu variety they carry. They have the usual teriyaki and other Japanese dishes such a Chicken Katsu,Noodle Soups and Severalstir fry dishes. I especially like that they serve brown rice which I get with all my orders.
