Terrible service and overpriced for what you get. They never fill your yogurt cup for the size you pay for. Basically you pay for a large and get the equivalent of a small at a competitor's location. They have such high turnover that the staff doesn't care about working there. And the flavors never change. Very unexciting

Carolyn Whealan-Andersson did a really nice job for us. She spent the time to find out what we wanted (and what we thought we wanted, which can be another thing entirely!) and then designed a really well-thought-out plan which included planting, irrigation, lighting, and hardscape. She will also manage your installation if that's in your budget (sadly, it was not for us). But I can't say enough good things about her design skills!

This is a really neat store to go to because they have used books and records. The prices widely vary depending on how rare the record or book that you want to get is- they have some that are really cheap and inexpensive and then they have some that are a little bit more rare that cost a little more. They have a pretty good selection of stuff and it is fun to browse through and look for the perfect book or a neat record that you used to listen to, to have a nice taste of the past back when people still used to listen to records.

Wife and I got this as a gift certificate from my daughter and
son in law. We used them often after I took my wife home
from a stay at the hospital. You have a thick book that lists
the many restaurants in the area and their corresponding
menus to chose from. The food always delivered warmly.
We enjoyed most of all the the convenience of not having
to cook and not much to cleanup after meal time!

I went to buy products there and the owners were really rude. There were very pretentious and if you look around, it's nothing to write home about. I will keep going to the aveda salon in Palo Alto. I also asked about services prices and they were ridiculously high. Maybe the stylists there have had a lot of years of experience, but they certainly don't look particularly up with the times. This is not what I would expect from an aveda salon.
Pros: easy access
Cons: expensive prices, rude owners

Every time I go into Village Stationers, I have a hard time not buying everything in the store. They have wonderful invitations for ALL sorts of parties as well as a great selection of stickers, albums, gifts, etc. I recently threw a baby shower and got all the supplies there and everyone at the shower commented on how cute everything was. It is easy to spend a lot of money and time here....and a great store to browse through if you have some time to spare.
PROS: good selection, cute stuff!
CONS: can be expensive

Exceptional service. We recently had our anniversary dinner there. The duck was juicy, tender. We were seated promptly and great house wine. Our friends came later to join us and a table was set up right away. The food came promptly. The atmosphere was a real French Bistro without flying to France. Tasty wine. Tasty food. More than satisfying portions.
