I bought two pairs of identical shoes on august 27th, 2006. the salesperson told me I can try the shoes at home and bring them back if they don't fit. The store also has a very visible sign explaining the return policy: 10-day money-back, 30-day for store credit.The shoes hurt my big toe, so I tried to exchange the shoes on September 22nd but was told that I couldn't return anything. After several hours of arguing, they agreed to exchange one pair for a slightly bigger pair if i never came back. The store clerk agreed that the shoes are in excellent condition, but said she'll loose her job if she exchange the shoes.The clerk said there is a notation on my account saying i abused the return policy. I have bought shoes from this store for many years, and have never got a single dime back (nor did I ask). When I asked for details of the supposed abuse (when, who, etc.), they said they have no more information.The Runners High gave me shoes that didn't fit (sometimes happens), but then refused to honor their own return policy. If you think stores should be honest about their policies, you should boycott the Runners High.
