This is the best Thai restaurant I have found in the Palo Alto/Menlo Park area. The food is great, and they will happily adjust the spice level to your taste. I especially recommend anything with their homemade peanut sauce. The Mus-u-man beef is my favorite.
When in season, you have to get the mango sticky rice for dessert.
Very friendly staff.
PROS: Tasty food, good service

Our family has been to Siam Garden dozens of time, and we have never been disappointed. The taste and flavor are always far above the average Bay Area Thai restaurant, and their service has never been less then flawless.
Our favorites are the Fish Cakes and Pork Satay to start off with, then either the Tom Yum
Krung (Shrimp and Lemon grass) soup, or my favorite, the Larb Moo salad.
All of the Curries are fine, and you can specify any amount of heat you want. The Red Curry Chicken is better than any other I've tasted. You won't go wrong eating here anytime!
Pros: Taste, Flavor, Inexpensive

I had heard good things about siam garden but has been thoroughly disappointed with their food. They serve what I would think is an americanized thai food. Thier dishes have no characteristic flavor, is made in a hurry and the portions are small too. When a restaurant starts selling ceramic serveware etc by the side, it's not a good sign. The interior is dark and shabby too. would not recommend.
