Great place!! I have been here tons of times and Im never disappointed! Very fast and friendly. Food always is really fresh. Tostada chicken salad is amazing as well as all burritos. Always pretty packed but they have some outdoor seating as well.

I know that's saying a lot. I'm a burrito-aholic. I could eat them every day. Mex-To-Go uses very tasty, high quality beef, cooked and chopped to order over a grill. It's the best Carne Asada I've ever tasted in a burrito, and that includes Taqueria Cancun, El Toro, El Faro, Pancho Villa, La Taqueria, etc. Mex-To-go has great, fresh Salsa Fresca (ask for extra), and the best and hottest salsa picante. It's doesn't float my boat with chips, but addictive on food.
They do server plates and other items, although I can't seem to pass up the burrito when I get there.
It's counter service, but they will bring you food out to you, and the ambiance is standard fare for a taqueria.
The place can be a bit inconsistent.

The El Cerrito Mexican Restaurant is very good. It has a very authentic flavor and fresh taste. The chips and salsa were very good as we waited for the meal. I'd go back.

This restaurant is a local great. The staff serves up great authentic mexican food at reasonable prices. Very friendly wait staff. Locals always return for the fabulous food and good atmosphere. Conveniently located in shopping center with great parking. you can even ask the waitstaff to cook you up something not on the menu. open for breakfast too.
