Great burgers - especially the moon burger - mushrooms and swiss cheese at its finest. Great deviled eggs - always fresh and delicious. Informal and personal!

Glad the Goose is still around! Great beers! Tavern feel. Nothing foo-foo about it. I have loved going here, and probably won't stop. Great place.

This place has been around for eternity. It is a local hang out for both neighbors and Stanford University students. Great place to go celebrate a victory after sports games, meets up with friends, hang with family, or just go for some casual hang out time. The enviornment is lively, fun, and friendly. The Dutch Goose will keep you coming back for more. The burgers will never disappoint you and the employees will make you smile.
Pros: Enviornment, Crowd, Owner

Classic dive bar: pool room, peanut shells on the floor, backyard patio. Everything you need to meet your unassuming friends. Don't expect great service.

for sporting events, leaves a lot to be desired if you want to watch the event. We went there for the NCAA finals, and they didn't even bother to fix the broken TV sets, so we had to watch the game on a small 13 screen hangning on the wall. You'd think for that event they would at least have things ready for their customers, but they just hung a do not touch sign on the bigger TV, on one of the biggest sporting events each year.
If you want a better ventue to watch sports with friends, the Old Pro blows the Goose away.

Quite possibly the best bar/restaurant I've ever been too. After coming to this bar since high-school and visiting bars across the US, there is no other bar that I would rather call home. From the Beer to CheeseBurger to the Deviled Egg, there is no finer Pub on the West Coast.
Pros: Inexpensives, Good Crowd, Laid Back
