Every time I go into Village Stationers, I have a hard time not buying everything in the store. They have wonderful invitations for ALL sorts of parties as well as a great selection of stickers, albums, gifts, etc. I recently threw a baby shower and got all the supplies there and everyone at the shower commented on how cute everything was. It is easy to spend a lot of money and time here....and a great store to browse through if you have some time to spare.
PROS: good selection, cute stuff!
CONS: can be expensive

This is such a beautiful shop with wonderful things at a variety of price points. I was surprised to see what I could get for the money. Of course, you can spend a lot, too, especially on the gorgeous china patterns they carry. Julie's has both decorative and practical gifts--the kinds of gifts that will definitely make the recipient feel special.

I recently bought a pint of Tahoe Creamery ice cream from Draeger's and it was fantastic. I am a big ice cream fan and thought I would try something a little more local (it is made in Lake Tahoe). Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. I LOVED the Blueberry. I would strongly suggest Tahoe Creamery ice cream to anyone who loves ice cream.
