It has been a while since we dined at "LePot au Feu", but I do remember that we were very happy with the service and the food. I guess we were lucky to have a waitress who actually spoke French in a French restaurant. The atmosphere was quite genuin and the place was full the night we were there, and that's a good sign.
I remember saying to myself that I'd go back again with my wife and daughter and so I can feel good recommending it here.

My friends and I have visited Le Pot au Feu many times this spring. Each time weve had excellent service and have enjoyed many items on their menu. The Saumon Paillard, Feuillete de Magret aux Peches and the Beef Wellington were excellent, just to name a few. The relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and well known chef will keep us coming back for more.

We had dinner on February 13. The restaurant was not crowded. Soup was delivered promptly. One hour later we still had not received salads and our waiter was pointedly avoiding us. We realized everyone in the restaurant was experiencing the same level of service (lack of). We weren't in a hurry so we decided to wait it out. When the food arrived it was pretty awful. The pastry on the Beef Wellington was gluey and unedible. We skipped dessert. The waiter comped our drinks (big deal, one glass of wine). Even without dessert or wine the meal was more than $80.00. The worst part was that they could have told us when we arrived that there were problems. But no -- they just kept seating people and not serving any food. What a bizarre evening.

This is a nice place to escape to and find a bit of European charm and ambience. The food is very good, portions small (you won't be bringing home leftovers) but adequate. The service is attentive, unobtrusive and comfortable. You can spend an evening here and not feel as though they're trying to rush you out for the next diners. I highly recommend it, hesitantly, because I would hate to see it become like some of the overcrowed places we've come to expect and accept in the Valley.
