Jason and I went here for a quick dinner tonight. It's conveniently located, small, but clean. The food is authentic Mexican fair / burrito stuff. The portions are moderate, which is actually a refreshing change from the overwhelming mass of tex-mex food that usually arrives. Service is quick - I think we had food 5 minutes after we walked in. We were on the early side (5:30) so there were plenty of kids running around, but the staff handled everyone without much trouble.

Lulu's is relatively new addition to the Menlo / Alameda commerce scene. It's literally next to the Dutch Goose, down the road from Flea Street and it's a nice Mexican restaurant with a laid back atmosphere. It won't blow the doors off of anyone, but the food is competent, people nice and I'd definitely recommend a try.

Lulu's is relatively new addition to the Menlo / Alameda commerce scene. It's literally next to the Dutch Goose, down the road from Flea Street and it's a nice Mexican restaurant with a laid back atmosphere. It won't blow the doors off of anyone, but the food is competent, people nice and I'd definitely recommend a try.
