At Sit & Knit you can learn the basics of simple knitting to advanced knitting techniques. Lessons for all levels from beginners to advanced. Here you will learn knitting techniques for slip knot, casting on, bind off, bind of ribbing, cast on, decrease and increase stitches. Lots of types of stitches knit & purl,large diameter circular,small diameter circular, decorative stitches, cable, loop, elongated. The more advance you become the more you can learn from the teacher like pattern reading, knitting with two colors, double knitting, one row button hole making and short row with wrap. Along with lesson they have a wide selection of yarns in lots of weights and styles and colors along with all your needles and accessories. Teachers are nice and its a nice place to hang out alone or with friends an knit. Once you master some skill from the teacher you can learn how to make beautiful sweaters like the Irish cable knit, Entrelac sweater, Cable york, Cardigans. Learning and full all in one place.

this oriental rug store is very impressive. In such a small store, they carry a large inventory for people to browse through. The Melrose Oriental Rug Co is located on Main Street in downtown Melrose, which is more than convenient and has off street parking, which is second to perfect. The prices are not too appealing, but what would you expect from a local store.

This is where i gave birth to my little cutie. They were awesome. One of my biggest fears was someone walking off with my baby. they have the best security system ever. The second your baby is born they attach an alarm to the babies foot so if the baby is taken out of that door the whole building goes on lock down and nobody could go anywhere. I felt very safe there.
The emergency room is kinda slow probly because the doctors are very good there thats where everybody goes.

This is a rare breed of florist with all the chains coming into Melrose. Paul and his mother take personal care with the flowers you want to buy and how to care for them. The prices are very good even compared with KaBloom around the corner.
Parking is a bit of a challenge but you are never more than 100 feet from the store. It's located kitty corner from City Hall. Enjoy!
