You have to go here in Spring when everything is blooming and its all very tidy. I've been before when there were more weeds than plants... But they also have activities for kids ...

You have to go here in Spring when everything is blooming and its all very tidy. I've been before when there were more weeds than plants... But they also have activities for kids and for families which is great. You can plan a day trip for the whole family at this place. more

Tyler Arboretum is a wonderful place to take the family to "get back to nature." Watch for their family events scheduled throughout the year where they activities scheduled for the whole family. I attended their fall event and found that they had tons for the kids to do. It's a beautiful setting with a large meadow and lots of trees, of course. more

Good place for a day outside 2/5/2006

The Tyler Arboretum is a place you can take a liesurely walk through and look at some exotic plants. The best time to go is at the beginning of Spring, when the flowers and trees are in blossom and the weeds haven't had a chance to overrun the place. It's not too buggy if you go at the right times, and by dusk it's downright romantic. Take a stroll by the creek for brownie points. more
