Don't pay attention to those other reviews. Those people have clearly never been there when they finally go there they are going to find incredible, food, employees, service, ambience, and atmosphere the show is just as incredible as the food, I absloutly love this place, Trust me I know when you go there your entire family and all your firends are absolutly going to love I know I do.

At Shoji's, you share a table with about 8 guests, sitting around the chef. While you watch, he cracks jokes, makes things burst into flames, throws knives up in the air, and oh, yeah, cooks your food, too. The food is decent, though not spectacular. When you go to Shoji's, you're really just going for the show. It's a fun place to take the kids, if they are old enough to enjoy it. On our most recent trip, a 3-year-old child in our party was a little freaked out by the fire, and begged the chef not to do it again. They don't have a specific kids' menu, which I think is strange and a little lame. Instead, they let you pay a couple of bucks for an extra plate with rice and veggies, and an adult can share their meat with the child. Overall, it is a place I'll go back to occasionally for a fun show, but not frequently. Once you've seen it, it doesn't really change much. Probably once a year or less is enough for me.

Shoji's could be compared to Bennihana's, but believe me Shoji's cannot compare when you go here you can almost believe it's Benniihana's until the food comes. Alot of rice and very little food. Very bright and if you want a private dinner, this is not the place. You are forced to sit with about 3 other families. Shoji's is just a poor imitation of another great restaurant.
