My family found this restaurant when we were driving down to California a few years ago and not we stop every time we are in the area. There breakfast is outstanding. There proportions are huge but the price is just right.

Just pull into the parking lot and you will be impressed. Lava Lanes is huge and awesome in appearance. It is incredibly clean and modern, and is a ton of fun. Its a bit on the spendy side, but it is well worth it. Recommended if looking for some clean fun.

We go to Tin Tin every chance we get. The whole fam damily loves it. The service is excellent. As with any buffet, the earlier you go the better the food is. The veggies are fresh and their garlic spinach is wonderful. We drive 150 miles round-trip to eat there!

My best friend and I love to stop here after a long day of window shopping. She loves the chicken salad. Personally, I think the cajun-blackened salmon capellini salad is to die for. Try their sandwiches for take-out.

We have eaten at Shoji's several times. We enjoy the food and the chef's show. The main drawback I've found is the wait even when you have a reservation. The prices are good. I would recomend them. Get an early reservation and plan on a wait.

This is a very small place but the food is excellent, affordable and they give you very large portions of it. We love Celena's chicken bento-- it is the best I have ever had. It's a kid friendly place too with kids meals.
I also happen to know that Celena and her husband (and now I can't recall his name) do quite a bit for low income people in our community as they support some of the organizations that provide extra food for people who need it. So, on top of being a superb place to eat at, you can feel good about spending money here. They are really good people.
You have to try it. She even makes teriyaki sauce from scratch and it is also the very best! Wow, just thinking about that bento makes me want to run into Medford and get some. It's THAT good!

Love this fun place..From the peanut shells on the floor to the best steaks in town, the fun decor and great help. Food is to die for and specials are great. Lunch is very cheap. Food is always prepared just perfect. They have the best hot, fresh bread in town. Wednesday loaded potato soup is the best. This is a must go to restaurant. A lot of fun.

This is by far the best sushi south of Eugene and north of Sacramento. I lived in Japan for 4 years and this is the real deal. They do tone down the selection on the rotating sushi bar (ambiance) to include the most popular types, but the menu has more selections. We go at least twice a month just for sushi and occasionally we will have other items from the menu like teriyaki salmon, oyako domburi, miso, etc.... The staff is friendly and accommodating --- same people for the last 15 years though their original location was in Ashland. They even have sushi to go. Great place to take visitors and order a sushi boat (or chirashi order) just for the fun of it with some Momogawa saki.

Ali's has consistently been the best Thai place in the valley and beyond. The two gals who run Ali's are fun, fast and friendly. The food is wonderful, too. Also, they did a nice job on the remodel.
Pros: food, prices
Cons: sometimes too bright
