I have always bought all of my appliances from the Appliance Center. (TVs, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge...) I know that I can always rely on the service and products i get from there, and since the expansion, which I think is gorgeous, I have bought new carpeting for the downstairs. And every time someone sees it for the first time they compliment it and ask where we got it. (They installed it too!) The Appliance Center is like a one stop shop now-I can hardly wait til I need new living room furniture. I know right where I'm heading!

I have bought my appliances at the Appliance Center in Maumee my whole life and know that i can rely on the service and every product i get from there.(TV's, washer/dryer, refrigerator, dish washer... ) Now with their expansion, which i think is gorgeous, it is even more exciting than ever to shop there! It's like a one stop shop! We just purchased new carpeting from there and they installed it too. The carpet looks beautiful throughout the downstairs - and everytime someone sees it for the first time they compliment it and ask where we got it from. I am looking forward to when i need new living room furniture - I know exactly where I'm heading!

Good: I had previously written a negative review about Appliance Center. It had nothing to do with their appliances, prices or customer service. It had to do with a construction issue and was of a personal nature even though it was about Appliance Center. Appliance Center has since stepped up and took another look at the situation and agreed that there might have been a misunderstanding.They have honored the original agreement to everyones satisfaction. They have restored my faith in their business.. Bad: Mine was not the only letter written on this matter. It is too bad that it had to come to this but when it comes to my family I take it personally.. Improvements: I would hope that everyone is happy now and that all hard feelings have been put behind.. Other: This website is a means for people to write reviews whether they be good or bad. They cannot be removed unless they are untrue. In this case it cannot be removed. My issue was not about Appliance Center customer service, products or prices. Everyone that I hear speak about Appliance Center always speak highly of them. I have never shopped there but if the need arises I would definitely take a look at what they have to offer..

Bad: Appliance Center is the grinch that stole Christmas from my grandchildren. My son-in-law is a painter that is out of work and has been for over a year. An emplyee of Appliance Center approached him about painting the new 5 million dollar addition to the store and to get it done by a grand opening deadline. My son-in-law and his brother, who also has been out of work for a year, agreed to do the job. They worked day and night to get it done. When the job was done the man in charge wouldn't pay the agreed amt. Improvements: My son-in-law get paid the rest of the money he has coming for his work so he can put food on the table and still be able to give my grandchildren a Christmas.. Other: My daughter and son-in-law have 3 kids as does his brother. Appliance Center runs 2 or 3 full page ads everyday in the paper and brags about his new million dollar addition and his low prices. The lowest things are his ethics. He should be ashamed of cheating people out of their money so he can have more more more..

We have purchased every appliance we have ever bought since we've been married at Appliance Center. As another reviewer mentioned, they are very willing to price match. Our purchases have included an oven, refrigerator, two deep freezers, dishwasher and microwave. When our TV goes out we will buy it there as well. The rest of my husband's family has also used them exclusively, as well as my parents who just built a new home. A well respected local builder purchases all of this appliances through them...so that should tell you something. We've purchased all our products through Joe Posey, who has been there 11 years (at least). They offer prompt delivery and will haul away your old stuff. You can't beat their product knowledge either.

Don't buy your appliances at the big chains. This store sells all the major brands and will price match if you ask them. They offer free disposal of the old machine and free delivery of the new one. They are a great store and the salespeople are able to make good recommendations because they understand the pros and cons of the products they sell so they can match you to the right one. They are locally owned, so support your neighbor. I've bought my last fridge and oven there and will go back again when I need something else.
