El Dorado Golf Course in Mason is a great course if you are just looking for a place to hit a few balls or improve your game without spending a great deal of money. It is a decently maintained course, but does not present the challenges or flair of the larger, higher end courses that are in its area. This is a great place for beginners to go and get a feel for the game without being overwhelmed by difficulty and/or large groups.

I have visited this course twice, both for company outtings where I work. Both times the course was very nice and well kept, and the clubhouse was well managed.
The beer-cart-girl was definitely on top of her game, as we must have seen her 36 times on the 18 holes that we played. She was very friendly though, as were the others at the clubhouse and the pro-shop.
I understand that they have nice twilight rates, so if you're looking to get in 9 or 18 one evening, give them a call.
PROS: Nice Rates, Well Kept

El Dorado is your straight-up average golfer's course. That's meant to be a slam, it just is what it is. While there is nothing special about it, it's still a fun course for a weekend or even a company outing. It's only one a few courses with 27 holes, so there's usually plenty of room and that's one of the reasons they are able to cater to group outings as well as they do. The staff is also extremely helpful and there a plenty of rental sets available. Make the drive and try out Eldorado!
