We used to love to go here but the last time we went we had steak that we couldnt eat so we decided to take it home to see if the dog could chew it. The manager rushed to our table and said if you take that steak out she would have to charge us by the pound so we gave it back to her and explained that we had paid for it just couldnt bite it. She paid no attention and treated us like we were thiefs.

I used to eat here on rare occasion with a friend who lives to eat, rather than eats to live. One of the redeeming factors was that there used to be some healthy choices and nutrition information posted above those. That allowed me to at least choose lower calorie food so I could save my calories for good food when I got home.
Last time I went we were in a hurry. The place was excessively crowded. A table near us was so loud that no one wanted to eat near them and heaven forbid the staff suggest that they lower their voices. The only thing remotely healthy was a baked potato, plain, or salad. All the other food was covered in grease. There are still sugar free options, which is probably for the clientele who has eaten him/herself into Type II Diabetes.
Take your money down the street to the funky Chinese Buffet on State and 4th. Excellent service, healthy FRESH options, interesting food that has great flavor, and the scary filthy guy who sits in the middle of the restaurant inhaling plate after plate of steak won't eat there. Not enough steak.

The Marysville location has been open for years, and managed to successfully morph into an even higher quality food establishment when the Tulalip Casino Buffet opened as competition. As a result, they are always very crowded at peak times which is an indicator of good food, service and atmosphere. (The crowds can be annoying when you are waiting in a buffet line or trying to move back through to your table). Everyone in your party will find items to their liking. There is about a two second wait between the time the top sirloin steak lands on your plate from the grill in front of you in line, upon your inspection of it's doneness to your liking.

Care about taste? Then you should avoid buffet at all. If you want buffet & superior taste at the same time.... that will cost you vicinity of $35 per person buffet.
Golden Corral is simple worth the visit and great taste for buffet. Just compare this to Old Country Buffet -- this is easy.

I've dined at the Marysville Golden Corral several times and the food has
always been acceptable if not gourmet. The dessert section
however is inferior. Cakes and pastries look good, but lack flavor. Pick fruit selections from the salad salad bar tasty fresh fruit instead.
Featured are good steaks cooked rare to medium rare.
Steak is rarely found on an all you can eat buffet so moderately priced.
Salad bar is average and unimaginative.
Usually available are sauteed onions and mushrooms.
Occasional hush-puppies, corn bread, and other simple good food.
Nearby Chinese buffet is also good, but, there's no steak.
If you want to know "where's the beef"?
It's at the Golden Corral, with decent prices for Seniors before 4 p.m, and not bad afterwards either. Beverages are omplimentary,
unlike other buffets in the area.
Table service for all beverages. Waitresses work hard, deserve a tip.
Management is excellent, with hands on owners.
Just went there this evening, and the steaks, ribs, shrimp, hush puppies, garlic cheese biscuits, etc were quite good.

I've been to the Golden Corral several times, and find it to be the best value around. The food is excellent. The owners always seem to be there to handle any problems. The previous complaint of $50 being too much for a family? They obviously don't eat out very much. The average buffet now-a-days is $10 to $18 a person. The average reastaurant will cost a family of 6 $75 and up. The Golden Corral is excellent. Try it for yourself.

Every time we have dined at Golden Corral it has been very crowded. Expect a wait to get in; you pay first, select seats, and then visit the buffet. Selection at the buffets is good, offering a variety for all ages. If you have a large appetite (revisit the buffet multiple times) this establishment might be a good deal. Our family unit finds the pricing to be high considering the small appetites we have. A chef watches over the grill, but frustrates when asked to prepare steak "well done" and will make the customer wait a long time. If you are familiar with American style buffets, and prefer this type of eatery, Golden Corral is worth trying. Food quality is average, pricing is high, facility is crowded, wait staff is friendly, and parking is plentiful. Overall an okay experience that is acceptable for the occasional dine.

I am amazed at how crowded the Golden Corral is! We went for the first time and it cost our family $50 to eat here. Not exactly a bargain! The food had the problem of looking tasty and tasting like nothing. They have a chef who mans the grill and will make you a burger or steak to your specifications. They also highlight a different thing each day. The day we went was Mexican day so we got to have burritos, tamales, fajitas in addition to the regular buffet items. One thing that's nice is they post nutritional information right on the label for the food. They have a large dessert buffet that looks delicious and tastes less than stellar. Stick with the soft serve ice cream! We got there right at the change over from lunch to dinner. My son was very sad to see the chicken nuggets taken away, apparently they're not a dinner item. We won't be back.

Then go to the Golden Corral. It's not the food there that is bad... there's just some questionable characters in there.
