Blue Note Motor Inn is a pretty decent motel and the prices are not that bad for the rooms. In the rooms, they have televisions with cable, the bed(s), clean bathrooms, and a couch. and table. The owners live upstairs in an apartment with their family, so it is easy to find them if you happen to have a problem or question. The only negative to it is that it is small and there are fancier places to stay but the prices here aren't bad and the rooms are clean with friendly owners.

My grandfather and my cousins go to Bob's Barbershop and they all like it. My grandfather has been going there for as long as I can remember and he still loves it and recommends it to many of his friends. My cousins just started going there recently but they have all been happy with the outcome. It's easy to find and located on E. Market Street in Marietta. I would recommend this barbershop to anyone because the guy's in my family have also been happy with the outcome!

Before my husband and I were married this is the insurance company that I used for auto insurance. I had a major car accident and they were great with paying off my car (which was totaled) and paying all the medical bills promptly. The claims adjuster that was assigned to my case was always courteous and helpful and I felt my settlement claim was very fair. After I bought my home, I also used this same agency and the price for my homeowner’s policy was very fair.

Herr's has been in business since I was a child. It has just about everything you could ever need from diapers to a hot food bar. They also sell lottery tickets and gas as well. In a pinch this is a great store to stop in and grab whatever it is you may need.

Before the new owner came in the food was excellent. The new owner came and changed the menu and it's barely even French anymore. They don't have any of the good sauces that they used to use. The servers are good though. The prices are high, and I would recommend many places before this one.

More
While they're not short on dime-a-dozen chain restaurants, York and Lancaster have just a small handful of respectable, unique, "night out" eateries. This is definitely one of them. Josephine's is a bit off the beaten track, (about ten minutes from route 30) but well worth the effort. The restaurant is an old house that has been refurbished beautifully. It maintains the charm and feel of a bygone era edifice, but fortunately lacks the dank, dirty feeling so many poorly restored buildings have. The dining area is small, but the tables are sufficiently spaced to allow for a measure of privacy. The low lighting accents the dark woods well, and the country decore is simple without going over the top. Josephine's menu is subject to frequent change, but always has a good selection of meats and vegetables that will probably allow everyone to find something to their liking. I've been several times and neither I nor my companions have had anything that wasn't well-above average to, most often, outstanding. Generally, there are a few french favorites and some more inventive concoctions. The dessert selection has been very good, and the quality is outstanding. Perhaps the best thing about Josephine's is the price. For a relatively high-end meal, you can expect to spend only a few more dollars than you would for a run of the mill chain steakhouse. For busy times or weekends, get a reservation. I think this is one of the best four or five restaurants I've tried in the York/Lancaster area.
Pros: Delicious food, reasonable price, not a boring chain
Cons: Accessibility

The Lavender Patch is an elegant bed and breakfast. They serve a large gourmet breakfast each morning, and you can enjoy it in their garden area. They have a large library for guest to relax in, filled with books on all sorts of interesting topics. This is a really good place for a relaxing retreat. The service is great and everyone is so nice and social. Prices are really good per night as well.
