How can you call this Italian food? Garlic rolls? What happened to garlic bread? Mushy pasta, not worth it!

Scalini's on Johnson's Ferry is good, but not as good as the one on Cobb Parkway in my opinion. For some reason it didn't taste as good and the service wasn't all that great. The food wasn't bad per se, but Just not as good as I remember it being at the other one. None the less, if you live in the area, it's probably one of the better Italian places for the price. And you can't go wrong w/ Chicken Alfredo, unless you go to Maggiano's~. ugh

Scalini's has great italian food at very reasonable prices. I really like the eggplant parmesean. It is said to put you into labor and if you do so 24 hrs after eating it you get to join their baby club free - which gives you a free dinner for 2, baby t-shirt. The meals come with endless salad and garlic rolls that they are famous for. The menu is quite large and offers a variety of pasta, seafood and italian classics. Children's menu is available and they offer a free meal on your birthday - bring your driver's license.

Scalini's Italian Restaurant is one of those places that everyone knows about in the area. It's very good Italian food and the price is not bad. They also have a lot of coupons going around, so it's great for that weekend family dinner or something. All the dishes I have tried there are good, so I wouldn't worry about them messing up one of your favorite dishes. This place is a much better alternative to Olive Garden in my opinion, but they don't have those really good breadsticks and endless salad. Might as well give it a shot right.
