My fiance & I go here about 3 times a month. Ask for Aimee. She's a great waitress, and will give very good service. I've tried about everything on the menu, and about 95% are always very good if not great. My favorite is the Penne Rustica. If your watching your carbs or calories try the new Scallop Spinach Salad. It is wonderful, and hard to recreate at home. They serve their house wine on the honor system, which I love. You don't have to wait for anyone to refill your glass when your ready, and can fill to the rim to get your monies worth.
Also, my 11 year old says they have the best macaroni & cheese, and she is an expert on the subject!

We went for the first time this weekend to the Macaroni Grill on Dallas Hwy in Marietta. We were promptly greeted as soon as we walked in the door at 6:45 pm.
We were then seated within 3 minutes. Our server did her job, but without any Enthusiasm. She quickly blurted out her name as she was writing it on the paper table covering. I explained that this was our first visit to the restaurant. She asked us what we would like to drink & turned quickly to walk away. She returned a few minutes later with our drinks, bread & set up the olive oil w/ ground pepper dip.
Our drinks were always refilled quickly (diet coke & sweet tea). Our salads arrived and although they were supposed to be the same type of salad; they were completely opposite in looks & quality. My house salad was full of the end of the head of lettuce pieces. After removing them, I only had 1/2 of a salad left. That half was drenched in dressing that I had requested to be "on the side". My husband's salad looked & tasted great except the dressing that was drowning out the bottom of the salad bowl.
Our dinners arrived looking delicious! I only wish they tasted as good as they looked. The Fettuccine Alfredo was beyond bland. It lacked seasoning completely & for an "Italian" restaurant, it was shameful. The Marcela Chicken Ravioli smelled, good, tasted pretty good, but was drowned in it's own sauce. I scraped most of the sauce off in attempt to enjoy the flavor of the chicken, asparagus, bacon & mushrooms.
Overall, nice atmosphere, average to poor attitude of server & her service and average to poor food. I'm not sure if we'll return again.

Yes, it is a big chain operated by the Olive Garden, but the food is much much higher quality. I love bread and olive oil that they give you when you are seated. Just can't eat too much or you won't be hungry for the food. Last time I got some lobster ravioli and it was to die for. I think that this a really good italian place.

The restaurant is charming, if an Olive Garden derivative. The best thing on the menu, by far, is the bread, served with olive oil and herbs. However, the cheese pizza, with the thin crust and fresh basil is good.
Not my first choice of restaurants, as the vegetarian options are very limited, but as the kid's meals are reasonably priced (includes drink AND dessert), I usually agree to go without a fuss.
