They are absolutely horrible! Do not go there! The "stylist" Janice cut my hair so short that she actually gave me a mullet! It looks like someone closed his eyes, took a chunk from the back of my hair and chopped it off two inches away from my scalp. I called them back for another appointment to fix it. Dee Dee was horrible. She made me wait an hour. Then she attempted to fix my hair. She took literally 10 minutes and after that it looked exactly the same! They are the worst salon i've ever been to in my entire life!! Fantastic sams would have done a better job. I want my money back! Oh, also, they are extremely unfriendly and too expensive for their lack of skill. They are absolutley terrible!

I had my hair highlighted, and while I thought they did a good job, the senior hairstylist did not do it; but rather, his assistant. I felt that if I was going to be paying premium price for an advanced hairstylist, then he, rather than his assistant should have done it. Moreover, I elected not to have a hair cut, so my stylist indicated there would "be a charge" to blow dry my hair! I was shocked. My last stylist (before we moved to Marietta) would have been aghast to let me walk out of his salon with wet hair--let along charge me to blow dry my hair after I paid him big bucks to highlight it! But, rather than pay the 25 bucks or so for them to blow dry it, I left. I felt like a drowned rat as I walked out and was a bit embarrassed to be leaving a supposed high class salon with wet hair. Very disappointed overall. They really do run their business like an assembly line, and I prefer more personal service. But, they do have good color and if customer service does not matter at all to you, then this would be the salon for you.

I've had my hair cut and colored by DeDe many times, and she does an amazing job. I've had my hair colored at many salons, and the best highlights I have ever received were from Elon. The only negative is that things at the salon are usually quite buzy and even hectic, and each stylist relies on an assistant to do a lot of the work, especially with foils.

Elon offers a great variety of things!! They offer coloring, cuts, pedicures, manicures, and many types of products for your everyday lifestyle. While they can be expensive, their great customer service makes up for that!! They can even get you into the salon on last minute notice, although appointments are great to have.

Elon salon has professional stylists and assistants and while I was failry pleased with my cut and VERY pleased with my highlights, the whole experience was like a factory. Very business like, rushed and impersonal. What happened to the good ol' days of chatting with your stylist? Making a new client feel welcome? I spent over $200 on a cut and color as well as some products...I really felt I deserved (as well as ANYONE who goes there) more personal attention. I realize they're busy, but they are in a primarily customer service driven business....the customer deserves to be treated well!

I have been a client for the last 15 years and for most of that time had the same stylist - Dana. She left a few years ago and since then I have been thru a few others and have not found anyone I trust as much. With that said, the products are great. The atmosphere is a little too trendy these days, but they are on the cutting edge of styling.
