VICKIE IS WONDERFUL ! Best salon I have ever been to. The receptionist is very professional and so helpful. She always greets you by name, with a smile, and the whole staff makes you feel like they are glad you came in. I moved from Brookhaven to Marietta and tried a number of different hair stylists and was very unsatisfied. Vickie was recommended to me and I am so grateful for the recommendation. She is an excellent hair stylist and a great person. I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants a great haircut in a friendly professional salon, with great service every time! Pros: Vickie is great, staff friendly, convenient location, hours of operation great for working women

Men need good haircuts, too. Vanason's is where a guy can get in and get out without feeling, well, compromised masculinity-wise. None of that chi-chi we're-too-good-for-you but we'll-take- a-credit- card-to-hold-your-appointment stuff. When Van Michael's told me they'd charge my credit card if I missed an appointment without giving 48 hours notice, I knew I didn't want to deal with them. So I went to Vanason's - a close-in Aveda Salon with all the talent and none of the pretense. Erica Cain is my regular stylist. I trust her enough that I actually let HER figure out "what we're going to do this time." And she works her magic for about half of what the apprentices do at Van Michael's. My Highest Rating. Pros: Talent and Product Cons: None that I can think of.

I actually tried this place out because I found it on citysearch, and I was very pleased with the results!! New to the area, its always scary to go to a new stylist. There were all ages cutting and getting cut, so it was a great mix! Lots of magazines to find the perfect celebrity style to copy. Only problem was the girl at the front area was a little rude. Came out looking and feeling fabulous though, so I?d still recommend it! Pros: Suprisingly classy yet trendy. Great styles for all types! Cons: On the expensive side--$42 for a basic cut. But still worth it.

I have always enjoyed coming here, It's clean and nice. and I love that they use Aveda products. They do very well at cutting your hair the way you want it. The styling could be better though. And the receptionist is not so friendly. Pros: Best place in Marietta! Cons: Not very good stylists especially with curly hair.

I tried Vicky for the very first time and I absolutely love her and will continue coming to her. I explained to her what I wanted then we looked at some pictures together to make sure she understood what I wanted. She has the expertise and was very friendly. I live in VA-Highland and she was worth the drive. I also got an eyebrow wax which I absolutely love. The quality and service you receive for the price you pay is very reasonable. I didn't feel the prententiousness of the Buckhead and VA-Highland salons that I've been to. I will be a customer for life! Thanks Vicky! I love this salon. Take a picture or describe what you want and you will walk out looking just the way you asked to look. Don't know what you want? You'll get lots of friendly, truthful advice tailored to your style. You don't walk out looking like everyone else in Atlanta (unless that's what you asked for). Best eyebrow wax I've ever had too. Pros: Color experts, up to date stylists, great eyebrow waxing Cons: I can't go everyday.
