My initial reason in joining Curves was for the obvious; to turn my 58 year old body into what it was when I was 20. Unfortunately that hasn??????t happened. Am I disappointed? Not really, because I have gone down from a size 15/16 to a comfortable size 12 and almost a size 10. I??????m also stronger, I have more energy, I can keep up with my husband on our walks, I sleep better and I am much happier with myself. One of the surprising benefits has been the major reduction in pain from having Arthritis. I believe it is due to the combination of the circuit workout that has increased my strength, the stretching afterwards and working out at least three times a week. Reduction in pain is enough of a major incentive to keep going to Curves.
On one of my first days Barb, a current member suggested to never forget to take the time to stretch afterwards. That said, I religiously stretch by following the chart on the wall and have recently added some yoga stretches as well. I now crave the stretching as much as the workout.
Further, the Maple Valley Curves has Becky the owner. Becky has additional training as a Physical Therapist and that coupled with the skill sets to effectively manage a woman??????s health club makes the Maple Valley Curves an extra special place to be. Finally we have the fantastic staff/trainers that readily assist you, keep you honest in your workout and encourage you with each visit. I haven??????t turned the clock back to when I was 20 but I can happily say that Curves in Maple Valley is physically, mentally and emotionally rewarding for me, and that??????s a good thing.

All Mcdonalds are pretty much the same. The food is good here. It is a pretty clean restaurant. The main thing I wanted to write about was their play area. Comparing it to other ones, this one is always usually pretty clean which is a plus. It can be pretty crowded, but it is fairly big so it can hold a lot of kids. The only downside is it does tend to smell in there, although I think they all do.

Compared to Taco Bell, I think Taco time is pretty pricey for a fast food restaurant. They have fast service, and the food is good. It's as to be expected for a fast food place overall. The 2 times i've been there it's been clean inside.

Chevron always has a nice note on their readerboard. It is a larger station so there usually isn't a line at the pump. They also have free air which is nice! They are a bit pricey, but more convenient to get to than some of the other gas stations around.

What can I say? I've had Pagliacci's, Pegasus, and all the chain" pizzas around, but I still think Shakey's has the best pizza you can buy. This location in Maple Valley was packed and we waited an hour for our pizza! But it's sooo yummy we were still happy.
Pros: perfect crust and a TON of toppings
Cons: service is sloooooow

CTS does a lot of embroidery for schools in Kent. It is owned and operated by former teachers, so it's a great way to support local business if you have embroidery needs. The products that we ordered were always well done and high quality. I believe it is competitive in pricing.

I've never eaten in, only gone through the drive through. Everytime I go that way, I end up waiting a long time for the food for some reason. Even if there aren't any cars in front of me. The food is good...I like the Chicken Chalupa supreme.

My only complaint is the hours are not good. Otherwise the place is easy to find and and easy to unload. Prices seem to be about the same as every one else. I did have to wait the last time for a bit to get someone to load me with bark. I would probably return if I was in the area otherwise I have another place I go that is better.
