Work It Out is a gym in Maple Valley, near QFC, that not only caters to women, they only allow women. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. The staff does a great job of getting to know you and making you feel like you belong. They are philosophically opposed to snobbiness, gossip, and overdone spandex. The women who go there range in age from 16-86 and are all very low-key - no noses stuck up in the air. They have on-site childcare during the peak hours. It costs two dollars and the kids are right there, practically in the same room, but behind a closed door with a two-way mirror. It's nice to know your kids are close by, but also gives you the ability for "mommy time", too. There are great classes - everything from Salsa to Yoga, Kickboxing and Pilates and more. They have several cardio machines and a circuit of weight machines for toning. When you join, you can pay just $30 extra for a one-hour-plus consultation with a trainer - it's well worth it! She will help you figure out how to use all the machines and what weights you should use, etc. I highly recommend it for those that already belong to a gym and to those that never have before.

Chevron always has a nice note on their readerboard. It is a larger station so there usually isn't a line at the pump. They also have free air which is nice! They are a bit pricey, but more convenient to get to than some of the other gas stations around.

I went to 4 places to get a quote on a paint job and this one was the lowest priced, had a garauntee, and got it done the fastest. They were very friendly and good people. The car turned out great too and their estimate was right on. My car looked new again after they fixed it up. I would take my cars here again.

I just called to see if they could special order me some Trex Origins (a product they do not normally stock and that most companies have stopped selling in favor of newer Trex products) and the first answer I got was a resounding "absolutely" then I was directed to several other places they knew of that had it in stock and may be cheaper than TRM would be for the special order. What customer service!
