This has been one of my favorite guitar stores from over the years. The staff is easy going friendly and seem much more focused on their and others passion for music and interest in learning than sales. They try and find the best, not most expensive fit for you. I have also taken lessons through them and find them very reasonably priced and beneficial. The store is sizable with lots of different items and miscellaneous accesories.

This is a fun place to go bowling, I've been here a few times. During certain times of certain days you can play for pretty cheap, but if you go after a certain point it becomes Glo-Bowling, which is lame, seizure-inducing, crowded, and expensive. Most bowling alleys do things like that these days. But during the day this is a great, casual, fun place to go. They even have a juke-box so you can play your favorite songs while bowling.

This is an older theater located on South Willow. It's not very big, but it gets the job done. Seating can be an issue on a busy day, so I would suggest going while all the kids are in school. Expect to pay the average going price for movie tickets and popcorn. This is a good place to go if you want to go to a more intimate theater to see a movie.

We saw The North End Comedy show here- it was extremely funny. The Palace has always been very clean whenever we have gone for other shows, as well. Easy to get to, and plenty of parking on the street- makes it a great night out. Plus, either before or after, you can walk to Elm Street for plenty of food and drink! People working there are always curtious and willing to help you (even with over the phone ticket orders).

This place is great, I go here every time I visit New England. They sell everything–from new (and used) CDs– to movies shoes, clothes, trinkets, posters, comics, books, and magazines. Every now and then you'll find something great on sale (for example: I found a new $120 pair of leather shoes marked down to $25). The staff is always friendly and helpful. You can't find a better store than this.

The Manchester Monarchs have been a strong team since they were created. They have made it to the playoffs several times. I have always had a fun time at the games at the Verizon Wireless Arena. The promotions they do are amusing, and usually original (including the infamous Mullet Night) The fans are deeply involved and very passionate about the program. For example, at a hockey game for another area team, the Monarch fans were louder than the local fans. Great fun, even if the prices seem high for local sport event.

Bowling location on candia road in Manchester. Offers pricing by the hour or by individual games. Has glow bowling at select times. Reasonable amount of parking. Is a bit rundown however and pricey. One difficulty also is that they cater to bowling leagues, so it's not worth going if there is a league playing, so definitely call ahead. Also is a little pricey,but some local area establishments have coupons to bowl one game free (does not include shoe rental). Right across the street from Zoey's, a nice little pizza place, so good for a game and then some slices.

This movie theater is the best in the area! There are many movie thaters in the area, mostly Regal Cinemas, but this on has comfier seats, stadium seating, and more movie times. Although the food is very overpriced (same in all movie theaters though) it is a very good place to go to see a movie. If your near the Derry area I suggest you come here to see a movie!
