I went in for a contact lens fitting with Merrimack Vision Care at their Merrimack branch. I ended up getting severly mis-diagnosed for my prescription. The doctor there was young and inexperienced - his name is Dr. Francis. Basically my long distance eyesight was blurry and out of focus even right after I put the lenses on. When I went in for a refitting I felt like the whole process was extremely rushed. The refitting itself did not help to get me the right prescription. The worst part of it all was they pushed me to buy the contacts from them, and now I have a whole batch that are left unopened and unused because my vision with them is terrible. I ended up going to their competitor, Nashua Eye Associates. I simply could not trust Merrimack Vision Care anymore. I am in no way associated with either place, I just had a very bad experience with Merrimack.

I really like Merrimack Vision Care because they have wonderful turn around times for classes and contacts. I like the personal attention and the free contact solution is also a money saver. They take most insurances and will work out payments if you need assistance. PROS: large selection of eyewear CONS: none
