I just went here when the new Harry Potter movie came out and it was great. The staff was great and so helpful with everything. They have a great cafe where you can sit and read without distractions.

Music section is great for finding titles- they know their inventory.

Corporate business has taken over and consumerism reigns, and right along with the billion dollar empires is Barnes and Noble. the book giant has cookie cutter stores, but you know what to expect. Manchesters staff is appealing and approachable, and their customer service is excellant. They have an extensive selection of books and they are open until 11pm.
PROS: hours, staff
CONS: corporate cookie cutter
