If you're in the Manchester area and need to rent a car, I would suggest Avis in the Buckland Hills Mall. Its much easier than going all the way to the airport and best if all its a lot cheaper. If you're going through insurance or if you're just traveling or renting for other reasons they'll help you out and take care of everything. Well worth is just because of the location and selection of cars.

I recently visited this UPS store to ship a package which contained an item that I sold on e-Bay. The label was printed off when I was at home and all I had to do was drop it off at the convenient location, rather than schedule a pick-up and have to wait for the delivery truck. Also, if you do not have a label made out, they do it there for your very quickly. The people are nice and courteous.

We stayed at this hotel while looking for an apartment in central CT. With a AAA special, it was only a bit more than staying in some of the other local hotels, but every room here includes a kitchenette.
The staff was also helpful in providing local maps and tips.
