This place isn't the greatest. The drinks cost way more than they are worth and are not mixed very well. The food is okay, but certainly not worth the price. Definitely a place where the locals like to hang out

Madison Art Cinemas is what we always wanted York Square Cinema to be...a great small theater that selects its films carefully - with good ambiance, decent sound, delightful snacks, comfy seats. They're often the only place to find more obscure films locally, and it may be a long drive from New Haven, but it's worth it for the right movie - particularly if you take the time to stroll around the Madison town center. One warning - the audience may strike up conversations with strangers on the way out - it's happened more than once to me.
