L&L is where we go when we're feeling homesick (or just craving for Hawaiian food). Everything on the menu is exactly made like it is back home. The Chicken Katsu from L&L is the best I've ever had anywhere. If you haven't tried the food here, I'd recommend Katsu, Kalbi, and Lau Lau. Don't forget the yummy mac salad!

When I need a quick taste of Hawaii, or it's 95 degrees outside, I head on over to L & L Hawaiian Barbecue in Lynnwood. http://www.hawaiianbarbecue.com/washington.html I always go in telling myself, try something else besides the Kalua Pig with cabbage. Do I? Nope, the only time I get something else is when there is no more Kalua Pig available. I can't think of anything really bad about the place. If you have picky kids order the Chicken Katsu and tell them it's chicken nuggets. I think I'll try the Lau Lau/Kalua Pig Combo.

I always forget about this place, but it's really good for a quick meal - and probably somewhat healthier than hitting McD's or the like. They serve Hawaiian style chicken, rice and of course - macaroni salad! (Among other things.) The restaurant is off the beaten path a little - in the shopping center on the corner of 196th and Hwy 99, but it's clean and the staff is friendly and fast.
