This is a great place to find clothes and baby accessories. They only purchase items that are in very good condition, so the clothes generally still look new. The store is clean, the parking is good, but the clerks tend to be a little bit snooty. Worth putting up with for the good deals, though.

I have had three children attend Neighborhood Academy until they were old enough to start school. This is an exceptional place! I love the Montessori program they teach. It helped prepare my children for Kindergarden. Each of my kids tested high when I enrolled them at All Saints Episcopal School. So, instead of putting them in Kindergarden, All Saints put them in their Pre-First class which is more advanced than Kindergarden. My friend's son also went to Neighborhood Academy. She enrolled him in public school. He is in the Gifted and Talented program public offers. She said he blew his Kindergarden teacher away at how advanced he was! Lubbock is very lucky that Becky Neighbors left being a TV news anchor to open Neighborhood Academy. It made all the difference in my childrens' performance in school and I know many others as well.

Oh man, I love this place! Definitely the BEST tortillas i've had. Anything you get is going to be good, so don't worry. The queso is pretty darn good so be sure not to miss out on that. Rosa's is a real laid back kinda place so it's a great place to go with a bunch of friends on a Friday night. Prices are very resonable.

This is the best Japanese steak house I've ever been to. Not too fancy, but the food is amazing and the cooks are always so much fun to watch. A great place to have a birthday party or just a fun get together with friends. Depending on what you get, you're lookin at spending about $12 per person unless you share something. If it's a weekend, get there early so you don't have to wait forever. If you DO have to wait, it's so worth it!
