I liked One Guys, it was easy to get to and always had fast service. They have recently closed though. They do have another location, that one is more of a sit down restaurant though. This location did not have the best food practices, as I too often had pizza that seemed to have been sitting out for a while. It tasted good though.

I went to the one across from Campus. I had a slice of pepperoni a slice of cheese and a calzone. The pie looked like it was sitting in the window for hours. The guy took two slices and put pepperoni on one and slid both in the oven. When it came out, the pepperoni had that warmed over greasy consistency instead of the crisp cooked kind. Both tasted so-so. They use real cheese and good pepperoni, that's what makes it greasy. It probably would have tasted better if it was fresh. I haven't ordered pizza from them since. I just go for the calzones.
Their soda also has that funky taste like they don't clean out their soda fountain nozzles.

One Guy from Italy Pizza (or known to those who frequent the restaurant often as "One Guy's" is one of the best pizza places in Lubbock. Personally, I prefer their calzones (stuffed with cheese meat and sauce) every bite is one of pure bliss and a mini-heart attack. The only drawback to One Guy's is that it is quite greasy, often the grease soaks through the paper plates. But the price is so cheap considering how much you get (a meal plus a drink). And even when it is busy, the line moves really fast showing just how good the service is.

Great place for pizza. Right across from campus so if you have an hour or so between classes, I would recommend coming here. Fairly cheap with great food. Pizzas are made fresh in front of you. The only reason why I am giving this a great apposed to a perfect is because a few times they forgot about my order which cause me to wait a while, also the pizza is EXTREAMLY grease. Don't let these things stop you from at lease trying One Guys one time.

One Guy From Italy Pizza is probably the best pizza place in Lubbock. Located across from the University it is a favorite lunch for all.
They have very inexpensive lunch specials. Calzone (or a couple slices of pizza) and a drink for under $5. The calzones are made to order and contain so much cheese and meat. Seriously, with this much meat and cheese I wonder how they make any money. They are so big that we rarely can eat the whole thing. Leftover calzones are good.
If you decide to try this place for lunch, try to time your visit before the lunch crowd hits the place.
