I'll admit that the store might be a little overwhelming at first. It's a little cluttered, but most vintage stores are. Cindy, the owner, is just a delightful person. It was like I had my own personal shopper! She knows her store really well and asked me a lot of questions to try and get to know my taste. Then she went through and picked out some really fantastic things. Some stuff may be expensive but she is open to bargaining over some of her items. I just had the best experience at Vintage Rose and will definitely be going back!

I have been going to Sherri at Sophisticuts for about 6 months now and couldn't be happier. I went to her after taking chemo (and a lot of my hair falling out) and she has been nothing but the best at helping me to feel better about the way I look and always giving me a cut which I love. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I would highly recommend her. She is kind, gracious, and charges a fair price.

I recently went to Petra's to get something called "threading" done. It's where a person uses thread to shape your eyebrows much like waxing. It costs usually no more than 5-6 bucks (yes, dirt cheap!) This place had an awesome threading lady but the price? 15 bucks? Ha! Never again.

Nails by Virginia has decent prices, but what really impressed me was the customer service. Every employee made an effort to say hello as soon as they saw me. Great customer service. The lady who did my french manicure was a pro. I would definately recommend this place to anyone who wants quality nail work done! I love this place!

I went in because it was the only salon in Lubbock that I could find to get a Brazilian wax (Candice took care of me) She was professional, and friendly. Very happy with overall experience, I'll for sure go back.

Ordered through teleflora. These folks could not find delivery location, then called and said it was too far, when tried to discuss, they hang up. Called back nicely to see if we could still work something out, rudely told us to never to business with them again. I was shocked. Worst customer service ever. My $ spent, no flowers delivered and my phone ear feels so violated. I believe in being professional and curtious no matter what, but this was just the rudest group I have ever experienced. I recommend you do NOT do business with these people.
Pros: Online ordering
Cons: Bad customer service, No rural delivery
