Hong Kong restaurant is a wonderful value for the price. Their food is very tasty and they have a great variety on the buffet. The service staff is friendly and fast. I have tried the newer Asian buffets in Lubbock, but I always go back to Hong Kong - it is the best in town.

When you're looking for a meal and some entertainment at the same time, I recommend this restaurant.It's really clean, quite affordable and the food is excellent. The kid's really like watching the chef prepare the meal right in front of them. It's pretty quick as well for a Japanese steak house. They do a good job of getting you seated and preparing your meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Mr. Gatti's is the best pizza ever! They have just about any kind of pizza you would want at a great price. You can get a large, one topping pizza for $5.99, you can't beat that!! They have a huge game room where you and your family can spend hours playing. They also have several big screen t.v.'s that you can watch while you eat. Its a great place for parties too!

Apples is a very small one room Pizza deli, if you would call it that. Yes they do sale great pizza's from personal size to large and almost any topping that you want, but they also sale everything else from hamburgers, salads, steak fingers, tacos, hot dogs, catfish, ham and cheese sandwiches, and hand dipped ice cream cones and floats. There is no dining room so it is either get it to go or eat in your car, but it is so worth it. You don't have many restaurants out in the country, and we are lucky to have one that is great, with a ton of variety.
Pros: inexpensive, very fast, friendly
Cons: , closes early on sat., no dining room

We never really sat down and ate at the restaurant before, we usually order are favorites calzones and take them home but this time my husband wanted to sit down and eat at the restaurant. Everyone treated us great, I felt comfortable eating my meal and the service was wonderful and of course we still order our calzones. I tell everyone if they want original tasting pizzas and calzones this is the place to go.

My best friend practically lives next door to China Star so it's no surprise we're there all the time. We go for the lunch and dinner buffet, and believe me we get our moneys worth! They have a great variety of food and as weird as it sounds, I'm addicted to their sauteed mushrooms! Great for a relaxing family meal anytime!

My husband and I eat here regularly. The people are friendly, the food is excellent (just like Abuela's), the place is clean, the atmosphere is pleasant enough to take the kids (not sure at night--they serve alcohol). Lunch specials make for affordable lunches. There may be a bit of a language understanding issue if you have a hard time with accents. Overall, it's great food at a great price.
