I had dinner at this Chile's location twice a week for 4 months.
DINE AT THE BAR for the VERY BEST service, especially Friday and Saturday --
(it's really busy during normal dinner hours, but after 10pm I always found an empty bar stool).
.
The FOOD was ALWAYS WELL-PREPARED and GOOD -- here's what I had:
Cajun Chicken Pasta ("sauce on the side" consistently served as requested-thanks!)
Create your own combo -- Margarita Chicken, Garlic & Lime Grilled Shrimp
SW Eggrolls
Cobb Salad
Pros: Open 1 hr later than most places on SW side.
Cons: None.

This lounge is located in The Falls Housing Additon in Southwest Lubbock. It's a neat atmosphere that offeres coctails. You have to have a alcohol card which is free and easy to get. They have theme nights like singles nights and such. Really a neat place!! Now if they only served steaks!

Mesquites Bar & Grill is a nice place if you like this type of food.I tried it but am not a big fan. The others with us really liked it. The decor was good and the service was good. I probably won't go back just because not my type of food.

If you are looking for a nice quiet place to hang out with some friends and have a couple of drinks this is the place to be. The ambiance is layed back and quiet. The mixed drinks are really good too! The location is very good too. It's across from the mall off of Slide Road..easy to get in and out of!

Club Luxor, on the outside it is is just like any normal bar, but on the inside it iis really something quite different. Before you go there, the most important thing to know is that the club is the town's "gar club". This doesn't mean that heterosexuals do not frequent the club, but the majority of the people at the club are homosexual-oriented. That being said, the club is actually quite nice and the music and dancing is good. Just beware!

Warning Lubbock Public Library has decided to destroy its patron?s credit. In a vindictive dishonest attempt to keep the public for using the library, the surly, unhelpful library employees have decided to destroy their patron?s credit. The cost of using the Lubbock Public library could be as high as being denied a student loans or the opportunity to buy a house. Enter the library at your own risk! Should you make the mistake of barrowing a book be forewarned that the lazy government employees may decide not to tell the compute that you returned the book but may decide to wait six month never send you a letter but report the accumulate fines and the inflated value of the book to the credit card agency, thus ruining your credit and adversely affecting you ability to barrow.
Using the Lubbock Public Library is clearly not worth the risk. I thought the library was a place to learn and improve you self but Lubbock Public Library apparently feels otherwise and actively works to destroy the reputation of their patrons and deny the opportunity to go to college or purchase a car or house.
Pros: surly, unhelpful library employees
Cons: Public Library has decided to destroy its patron?s credit
