Sal's has consistently good pizza with a chewy crust that is absolutely huge. They advertise their large 3 lb pizza for 9 dollars, so you can't beat that price for the amount of food that they give you. They have salads and garlic bread as well along with subs if you are not feeling like pizza. They have many toppings to choose from, their fried eggplant is my favorite. This is a great meal for a large family who needs to eat on the cheap.

This is a great place. The pizza possibly rivals Papa Gino's and at a lower price! Located in Lowell near the cinema, Sal's is known all over the Merrimack Valley for having great pizza. But they have more than just good pizza. The subs are superb as well and the building is also very nice.

This is by far the best pizza in the greater Lowell area. It is located on Rt 38 in Lowell, in the Market Basket shopping center. A cheese pizza cost just under $10, weighs in at a whopping three pounds, and tastes fantastic. They do not have an extensive menu since pizza is their main draw, but they do sell some calzones and baked goods. I was surprised to see that they also do specialty cakes as well. If you love their pizza dough and would like to make something at home with it, raw dough is available for purchase as well. There are tables for you to enjoy your pizza at Sal's, but I think take out is their main draw. There is plenty of parking available, and there is never too long a wait.
