Offered an incredible insight into treating with both Western and Eastern medicine. He knew right away what was causing skin issues. He told me how to boost up my dogs immune system especially with Raw Food Diets. Last reviewer sounded very rude. I would never follow that persons advise. He sure doesn't know what a good veterinarian is. Dr. Henry Pasternak is very reasonable with treatments and prices especially when you see what is really out there. I hope the last guy goes somewhere else so I wouldn't ever have to bump into that kind of a rude person. I feel sorry for his dog since it sounds like the owner is diagnosing his own dog. Anyways, this hospital is very clean and the Doctor is very good.

He's an a-hole who's approach to medicine is to to as much as possible upfront so he can charge as much as possible upfront. My dog had a few symptoms which indicated a possible urinary tract infection. But instead of trying to diagnose the problem and then take the appropriate action he did a bunch of stuff that cost almost $700. I was pissed and suspicious so I did my own research, found that there was only a tiny bit of evidence to suggest a bladder infection, declined to give her the antibiotics and 3 days later she's fine. No infection, just a giant bill for a lot of needless treatments. He's a huckster and all the personal warmth and charm of a rusty pipe. Avoid at all costs.

The staff at Pasternak Veterinary are the best around! They are so sweet and caring and it is easy to tell that they truly are animal lovers. I love that you do not need an appointment. I have never had to wait more than about 15 minutes to see the doctor. Dr. Pasternak is very knowledgeable and I like that he uses a holistic approach to treatment. The only drawback is that I wish his personality was a little warmer like the rest of his staff. He has a very business like manner. Another great thing is that they also board animals and have a bathing service! I know that my dog is in great hands with the Pasternak staff. I would definitely recommend to any one!
